Our story begins in 1977, when Ben’s father opened a small stove workshop in our hometown. What started as a humble family venture quickly became something much more—a place where craftsmanship, curiosity, and a deep respect for natural, renewable heat took root.
At a time when few people were thinking about sustainability, he was already looking ahead, recognising that responsibly sourced wood could offer homes a cleaner, more renewable way to stay warm.
As the demand for quality wood‑burning stoves grew, so did the business. That small workshop expanded into larger units and evolved into Talbotts Heating, becoming a trusted name built on hard work, innovation, and a genuine belief in the power of renewable energy.
Through each change and each challenge, Ben’s father carried with him a vision that was years ahead of its time—one that paired practical engineering with care for the environment.
